More than 450 teams from 43 states and 40 countries will be heading off to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando to compete in 2009 Cheerleading and Dance Worlds, an event showcasing National champions from all star cheerleading and dance gyms and clubs around the country. To qualify for this prestigious event, teams received a bid from an all star cheerleading and dance event producer.
Varsity’s family of event producers are sending a combined 130 teams to the 2009 Cheerleading and Dance Worlds. The teams represent 27 states and 5 countries. This year is the sixth year of the Cheerleading and Dance Worlds, produced by the International All-Star Federation. Founded in 2003, the IASF’s mission is to support the growth of all star cheerleading and dance with an emphasis on safety and education.
