Meet the 2012 UCA Twitter Staff!

This year UCA has selected some of its best summer camp instructors to tweet about their camp adventures. Make sure you follow @UCAupdates and all of the staff below to find out what's going on this summer at UCA camp!


@UCATaylerEaston	-Hometown: Myrtle Beach, SC -Current City: Clemson, SC -UCA Staff: 5 years on Southeast staff and 2nd summer on the UCA Twitter Team -College: 2012 GRADUATE of Clemson University, 3 years cheering for the Tigers -Hobbies: Anything sport related, especially Clemson baseball. Love spending time on the lake and eating Chipolte (which I drive an hour to get to) -Events: Correspondent at UCA National Championships for Varsity TV. -Favorite aspect of UCA Staff: Being a role model for cheerleaders and teaching them that learning new material is FUN!

@UCARyanMartin	-Hometown: Lexington, KY -Current City: Tuscaloosa, Al -UCA Staff: 5 years on Midsouth staff, Veteran Head Instructor -All Stars: Pep Club All Stars in Lexington, Ky -High School:4 UCA National Championships with Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, 1 UCA Partner Stunt National Championship -Team USA COED: Gold medals 2011 and 2012 -College: 2008-2009 University of Kentucky, 2009-present University of Alabama (2011 UCA College National Champions) ROLL TIDE! -Hobbies: Tennis, running, anything outdoors! -Events: Correspondent at UCA National Championships for Varsity TV. -Favorite aspect of UCA Staff: Being able to travel, teach and meet new friends! Not only do I get to work with some of the best teams in the nation, I also get to work with the best staff in the nation!

@UCAAnnie	-Hometown: Joshua, TX -Current City: Ft. Worth, TX -UCA Staff: 5 years on Southwest staff, 2nd year on Core Staff and 2nd summer on the UCA Twitter Team -College: 2012 GRADUATE of Texas Christian University (GO FROGS!) Zeta Tau Alpha President -Hobbies: Watching any sporting event, especially TCU. Go Frogs. Love spending time with my family and friends, traveling, going to the lake or beach, and rollerblading. -Events: Love going to the championship events and working with the ESPN production team. -Favorite aspect of UCA Staff: Teaming Up with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and friendships you make with staffer and the cheerleaders. It is so fun meeting new people, and I love dance class. Helping a team hit a new stunt then seeing them hit it for the first time makes all that hard work more than worth it!!

@UCAStephanie	-Hometown: Corning, Arkansas -Current City: Oxford, MS -UCA Staff: 7 years on staff with Arkansas and Mississippi, Midsouth Veteran Head Instructor, Germany-Ansbach Camp -College: University of Central Arkansas (Large Coed Nationals Team), currently at University of Mississippi Graduate School of Business (Hotty Toddy!) -Nationals: National Rules Committee -Hobbies: Water sports, distance running, SCUBA diving, and traveling! -Events: 2010/2011 Houston Thanksgiving Day Parade for the past two years with JH All-Americans, 2012 London New Years Day Parade with Varsity All-Americans -Favorite aspect of UCA Staff: Working on fun, innovative pyramids and partner stunts, traveling and making friendships that last a lifetime.

@UCACourtney	-Hometown:Lafayette, LA -Current City: Baton Rouge, LA -UCA Staff: 5 years on staff -College: Louisiana State University; 4th year cheerleader (GEAUX Tigers) -Hobbies: Walking the runway at nationals sporting the latest Varsity Spirit Fashions. -Favorite aspect of UCA Staff: Being able to be a part of such a close knit family of staffers and making friends from all across the country. While at camp I love private coaching because you get that one-on-one time with a squad and you form a bond with them. When they run up to you after evaluations and tell you they got a Blue Superior ribbon, you get to share in the excitement with them!

@UCALauren1	-Hometown: Effingham, Illinois -Current City: Columbia, MO -UCA Staff: 2nd year on staff -College: University of Missouri -Hobbies: Practicing my motions so they are extra sharp ;) -Events: 2010/2011 Houston Thanksgiving Day Parade for the past two years with JH All-Americans, 2012 London New Years Day Parade with Varsity All-Americans -Favorite aspect of UCA Staff: Traveling, bonding with staffers and being a role model for cheerleaders at my camps!

@UCAShakeem	-Hometown:Athens, Greece -Current City: Atlanta, GA -UCA Staff: 3rd year on staff -College:Columbus State University -Hobbies: Working out, going to church, playing guitar -Favorite aspect of UCA Staff: Interacting with the amazing cheerleaders at camp and teaching the guys a thing or two about partner stunting.

@UCAEugene	-Hometown:Cumberland, MD -Current City: Cumberland, MD -UCA Staff: 1st year and I AM SUPER EXCITED! -College: Frostburg State University -Hobbies: When I am not perfecting my toe touch I am coaching at Allegany High School -Favorite aspect of UCA Staff: I’ll get back to you on that later in the summer, but I am excited to be a part of the legacy that is Universal Cheerleaders Association!

@UCAAshley	-Hometown: Webster, MA -Current City: Boston, MA -UCA Staff: 9 years on UCA staff and have been on Core Staff and College Staff -College: Keene State -Hobbies: Reading, spending time with friends, running, traveling and cooking -Favorite aspect of UCA Staff: Working on the curriculum team to help make up new cheers, sidelines, and stunts.

@UCATripp	-Hometown: Theodore, AL -Current City: Troy, AL -UCA Staff: 5th Year on Mascot Staff -College: Troy University -Hobbies: Watching Sportscenter, coaching soccer, and doing mascot things -Favorite aspect of UCA Staff: The ability to make a lasting impact on campers lives.

@UCAPaige	-Hometown: Grain Valley, MO -Current City: Columbia, MO -UCA Staff: 5th year on staff -College: University of Missouri; 4th year cheerleader…MIZ! -Hobbies: Jamming to Nicki Minaj -Favorite aspect of UCA Staff: Giving out spirit sticks and watching squads bond and perfect their skills at camp!

@UCALogan	-Hometown: Crandall, TX -Current City: Lubbock, TX -UCA Staff: 9 years on staff -Team USA COED: 3 time gold medalist -College: Texas Tech -Hobbies: Power tumbling and drinking Gatorade -Favorite aspect of UCA Staff: Meeting all the new campers and the energy and enthusiasm that they have for supporting their school. Enjoyed opportunities to travel and coach all over the US, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Australia!
