Cheerleaders Lend a Helping Hand Before the School Year Starts!
Cheerleaders across the country are packing up their backpacks and heading back to school. But before the schools open their doors to a new year, some cheerleading squads are going above and beyond the call of duty by going back early to help their school get ready for a new year.
See how squads are getting ready for the new year:
The cheerleaders from Northwood Academy in Oak Ridge, TN helped out their school by washing the outside and inside of their school’s buses.
North Panola High School from Sardis, MS had a back to school rally for the upcoming school year. The NPHS cheerleaders volunteered their time to assist parents, help with various activities, delivered food, water, drinks to the vendors and assisted with child care. Angela King, Cheer Coach at North Panola said, “The rally was a huge success and I am very proud of my team!”
Sequim High School from Sequim, WA cleaned up the high school grounds by pulling weeds. They wanted to make sure their school looked nice and presentable prior to the Freshman open house.
The cheerleaders from Apple Valley High School in CA helped the teachers clean up their rooms before the school year started.
Hilldale Varsity Cheerleaders went out and filled treat bags with items donated from business and parents in the community. Then they cheered for their teachers and greeted them as they returned for an in-service and handed them their gift bags.
