Universal Cheerleading Association would like to recognize the coach of Florida Atlantic University, Heather Henderson as July’s Coach of the Month.
A favorite of both cheerleaders and the parents of cheerleaders, Heather has earned herself a strong reputation. Lisa Braithwaite-Rodriguez said, “This will be my daughters 3rd year cheering for Heather Henderson and she’s not just my daughters coach, she’s like family.”
Coach Henderson is not only a great example for her cheerleaders she also is a great example for other athletes in the gym. She does this by encouraging everyone to reach their full potential.
Another thing Heather strives for is for her cheerleaders to not only be great athletes, but to also be great students. Heather feels it’s important to shows her cheerleaders how to multi-task and how important athletics are as well as their education. She also teaches them to respect their team mates as well as everyone around them.
Way to go, Heather!
