KENTUCKY/WEST VIRGINIA FALL NEWSLETTER
Welcome back Kentucky Coaches and Teachers! I hope you all had a wonderful summer break and are ready to get started with another great year with your squad! We have lots of opportunities for both you and your teams continuing throughout the school year, so please continue to remember UCA as your “one stop shop” for your cheerleading needs!
SPIRIT LET’S HEAR IT!!
Some fun ideas to get your cheerleaders ready to start the SCHOOL SPIRIT craze!
- Plan a tailgate party for parents, students, & teachers!
- Decorate the fall athletes’ lockers!
- Plan a fall “Meet the Teams” night & introduce the fall sports teams & band!
- Practice those new Cheers/Traditions during a morning assembly or announcements by teaching students & teachers what to yell & when!
UCA is bringing the Game Time Championship Series to a select competition near you this competition season! The Game Time Championship was created to showcase what cheerleading is really all about—leading the crowd!
At only $10 per participant a category enter your team in one or all three of the different categories: sideline cheerleading, fight song, or time out dance! Did you compete in Home Pom this summer at camp? Turn around and use it for the time out dance division! This is a cost effective way for your team to compete & show off your Game Time Skills!
The following competitions will be hosting the Game Time Championships that may appeal to KY teams:
- Bluegrass Regional, Nov. 7th - Lexington, KY
- Midsouth Regional, Nov. 7th - Memphis, TN
- Miami Valley Regional, Nov. 8th - Dayton, OH
- TN Extreme, Nov. 21st - McMinnville, TN
- Winterfest, Dec. 19th - Cincinnati, OH

What’s going on this Fall in Kentucky?
1 Day Fall Private Camps
- Progressions, as well as new transitional stunting
- Safety and spotting techniques
- Sideline and cheer material, including our great new ‘Fan Frenzy’ workshop! Work with UCA instructors on developing ways to involve the crowd and create “traditions” at your school
- Dances (choose your favorites!)
- Private coaching with UCA instructors on material
Fall Elite Private Camps
- Learn new & innovative stunts and transitions created specifically for this series!
- Stunt techniques for ALL ability levels
- Safety & spotting techniques
